Sylvia has an honors degree in Zoology and has worked with several international
conservation education projects. Based in Sabah for over 32 years, Sylvia has
worked with Sabah Forestry Department, the local ecotourism industry and the
Sabah Foundation on nature interpretation, public awareness and environmental
education. She is now focusing on species conservation and the impacts of
infrastructure on biodiversity and the environment.
