Facilitating projects that work to preserve Borneo’s extraordinary biodiversity, focusing principally on the endangered Orang Utan, Sumatran Rhino and Sun Bear and including research, education, habitat protection and conservation.


Biodiversity and Habitat Protection Through Land Acquisition
​Identifying, purchasing and holding in trust vital wildlife corridors to prevent further habitat fragmentation and promote contiguity of forest tracts.
Landscape and Ecosystem Protection Through the Exploration of New Mechanisms
Exploring, facilitating new partnerships, and bringing in knowledge and expertise on emerging methodologies for landscape and ecosystem protection, including REDD (Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and forest Degradation), and carbon and biodiversity offsets and credits.

Community-Owned Conservation Microenterprise and Ecotourism Initiatives
Engaging with and supporting local communities as primary stewards of the land, and assisting them in generating innovative, sustainable income opportunities that also allow them to protect and restore the land.
